When you buy a dog you think I will be the teacher and the dog will be the
student. This statement is not true!
As we embarked into the world of Tervuren, little did we know Scarlet would
live up to the meaning of her name "A red Hot delight". At 38-lbs she
commanded the show ring by taking the lead and showing everyone that she has
what it takes to be a true competitor. From her very first show at 6 months
she took a 3-point major and went BOS. She later finished her championship
by taking all major wins (3,5,5,5) and moved on to the specials ring where
she became a multiple BOB winner, multiple all breed Group placer and ABTC
BOSS Regional Specialty winner. With over 20 Best of Breed wins as a very
limited special. As a bonus her entire show career was owner handled.
Throughout the years Scarlet gave us many first. She was our first Tervuren,
first Champion, first Group placer; she produced our first Tervuren litter

It is said that good things come in small packages. Scarlet is proof that
this statement is true.
