Hawkeye Farms is happy to announce the breeding of Raven and Max through the technology magic of trans-cervical endoscopic artificial insemination at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine on December 9th and 10th, 2015 using our 2001 collection of frozen seaman from Max.

When searching for a pedigree for our next litter we knew this was the correct match up since we have been familiar with all of the wonderful pedigrees of both lines for the past 25-years.  This is her maiden voyage being bred for the first time. The litter was born on February 7, 2016 with  seven puppies, 4-Males and 3-Females.

Raven is out of CH Red Alert of Anduin and GrCH Shumaker Hill's Turn the Paige (2009) ABTC BOS National Specialty Winner. Her family history includes a very well-known kennel that has produced national ranked conformation and multiple ABTC BOS Specialty winners. Raven is a multiple Best of Breed winner and has her Herding Tested HT title on sheep. Her littermates have excelled in agility, conformation and other performance venues. Their health clearances have all been verified and issued. Raven has an excellent temperament with both adults, children and other animals. Her best buddy is our farm kitty Nikki. She is structurally square in shape with outstanding reach and drive movement. She is a very beautiful female that should produce a litter with the same qualities as her and Max.
